If you are deficient in chromium, you may experience glucose, fat and protein metabolism where you have reduced tissue sensitivity to glucose. In chromium-deficient individuals, numbness in the extremities is common.
Natural sources of chromium include apples, beef, brewer’s yeast, cheese, corn, whole grains, tomatoes, molasses and eggs. However, food provides a relatively small amount of chromium (we absorb less than 1% of the chromium in food), and therefore supplementation is very beneficial. The three most common forms of chromium supplements are chromium polynicotinate, chromium picolinate and chromium chloride. Of these three, chromium polynicotinate has been found to be far superior in terms of bioavailability as compared to the other two forms and that’s what is used in the Diachrom PN.Ingredients
Chromium is helpful because of it’s ability to promote glucose (sugar) metabolism. This helps improve the glucose tolerance of people suffering from sugar imbalance. 400 mcg pure chromium polynicotinate per capsule.

Individuals with diabetes, lung disease, kidney disease and women who are pregnant or breast feeding should consult their physician prior to taking high doses of chromium supplementation.
